Moving to Mars

According to scientists, Martian dirt is rich in nutriets and is capable of sustaining Earthly life. Therefore, on my trip to Mars, I think we should bring the seeds of vegtables such as turnips, asparagus and green beans. I also think that wheat seeds should be brought, becuase wheat makes a lot of basic foods, such as bread, which are important for human life to thrive. Also, i think that the seeds for trees and other plants which grow nuts and beans should be brought on the trip, in the hopes that they will grow also. These foods are very important for protein. Most important of all, we muct bring lots of water, in order to grow all of these foods, and to drink every day. In addition to the water being brought, we might need to use new technology, such as using alcohols as starting materials to make new water, to ensure an abundance of water, and a healthy life on Mars.

Virginia Key Fauna

This is a White Ibis. Ibis are native to Virginia Key and are a "Florida bird". They are often found in Florida's lake front areas, although they are found in the shallow waters of beaches also. They are migratory fauna, which eat up everything from amphibians, to worms and insects.

Three Science Fair Projects

How can invasive species be controlled?
I chose this one because i think it's interesting how species can enter a habitat totally different from their own, and overtake species already there. I also think if the project is successful, then it could help endangered species that are diminishing because of non native species taking their resources.

What causes dissolved oxygen levels to vary?
I chose this topic, because i'm curious about how marine life using oxygen to breath, even in the water. I want to see which different factors make oxygen levels increase and decrease in the water, and how that affects marine life.

What is the most accurate way to predict the weather, without using advanced technology?
I choose this, because I've always wondered if the weather could be predicted without using fancy equipment. I think it is amazing that just using homemade instruments, the weather could be accuratly predicted. I would like to find the best way for this to happen.
